Portorož’s main bus station is 400 m from the house. The local bus to Piran and Koper stops 50 m from the door.
By plane
Trieste Airport is about an hour's drive, and so is Pula Airport.

A medieval town of narrow streets around Tartini Square. Take the bus from the stop by the house, or walk along the coast.
Sečovlje Salt Pans
Salt pans where salt is still harvested by hand, and the Lepa Vida thalasso spa among the salt fields. The nature park is a few minutes' drive away.
